CLJD Weekly 52 - End of Year Highlights

Thanks and praises belong to God for His tremendous faithfulness in allowing the CLJD Weekly to be a going concern for the 52 weeks of 2025. From 7th January to 30th December.

The Big Picture

It is His grace that has ensured that there's a weekly blog post on this site. Some treat their writing as if they were children, and they find it hard to choose one or two to show off. I don't have such a hang-up. Some entries on here are better than others. Here are some for your consideration.

Be Transformed - #02 from 14-01-25. This one offers an excellent outline of what it means to be transformed and includes a cultural reference that is not to be missed.

The Flourishing Church: A Vision for Every Believer - #05 from 04-02-25. We can get captivated by different models of church that appear to have the spirit of the age behind them. That's why it's worth going back to God to get His view of what a flourishing church looks like.

The Right Mind: Part 5 - Whatever Is Pure - #22 from 03-06-25. Exploring Philippians 4:8 was a breath of fresh air, and reviewing what Jesus means by "pure" and how we apply it made this one of the best in the series.

Steps to Thrive: To Be Seen - #37 from 16-09-25. To thrive doesn't seem to be encouraged often, which is odd, seeing as that's the point of being alive, as far as God is concerned. Part of that process was considered here wonderfully.

Prayer - Every Eye Closed? - #42 from 21-10-25 I took pleasure putting this entry together. One of the ones that were not attached to a previous series. It was thoroughly enjoyable putting together the thinking points on this entry.

We Become Warriors - Encounter Changes - #45 11-11-25. The series outlining the 7Ws is not one to miss. Exploring how we can be changed by encountering Jesus. Our role is to point that out and make more disciples.

Grateful though we are for a thoroughly enjoyable 2025, there is no room to rest on laurels. There's every encouragement to carry on with the work.

For His Name's Sake
